Last month I found myself sitting in a meeting with one of my clients who was kind enough to share with me his opinions about the strengths and weaknesses of my marketing business. He shared with me a few ideas about how I could make working together easier for him like integrating more services on the internet and a new marketing service I “should” offer, because he needed it.
We finished our coffee and I canceled the rest my day, choosing to spend it instead at my desk researching and developing the service he requested. Early the next week we met again, I pitched him the new service and he signed “on the line that is dotted”.
The point of this story is that your customers are willing and excited to hear about how you can innovate your business, provide better service and even sell them new products and services. If you listen and act on them, good things should happen.
